iPhone 3Gs is capable of 1080p HD videos playback—Is it a rumor?

iPhone 3Gs is capable of 1080p HD videos playback—Is it a rumor?

Since Apple released iPhone 3Gs, some rumors and speculations have been spreading that iPhone 3GS would be capable of playing HD video in 720p and 1080p. However, Apple’s official specifications indicate no sign of HD video playback capabilities and just list that iPhone 3Gs’s maximum video playback is just 640*480P like its predecessors only supporting SD 2.5Mbps Mpeg 4 or H264 video.
Currently, a member of Chinese forum named Weiphone claimed that iPhone 3Gs features 1080p videos playback. He was able to play files of 1920x1080p at up to 35 Mbps through built-in player iPhone 3GS. After dismantling the machine body, he discovered that iPhone 3Gs built in Samsung S5PC100 ship processor, which can run up to 833MHZ and is capable of handling 720P decode and encode. Despite of this, Apple refuses to acknowledge the fact. It limits the screen resolution to 640*480p. Then why does Apple keep the truth under wraps?
Probably Apple has been aware of the limitation of function and capability of iPhone 3Gs. The 1080p HD content playback wasn't smooth and occasionally it crashed. For instance, there are some issues with this claim, the most important one coming from people who've tried for themselves to perform the experiment in order to prove that iPhone 3Gs support HD videos, but failed in consequence.
Someone has used the apps called FileAid which enables him to put some HD videos to iPhone 3Gs. While the HD videos are working well, the audio issues like stutter occur. Hence, the audio problem seems to be severe as it totally makes the audio drivers collapsed on the iPhone 3Gs, rendering it useless to play audio on all apps. Furthermore, as the restriction of its screen size and resolution, the consequences of playing a large video file on the iPhone 3GS may consume excessive current and shorten battery life and high temperature may make the iPhone unstable.
Therefore, we can assume that the code provided by Apple is not polished, since it is a time-consuming job to encode/decode the HD videos, especially for some larger size of HD videos.
If you really want to watch HD videos on your iPhone 3Gs, what will you do? “Actually it is not a rumor any longer, what we need is a HD Video Converter.” asserted by a senior engineer working for a US software corporation. He introduced a professional Moyea HD Video Converter with which you can easily make iPhone 3Gs capable of 1080p videos playback. Using this software, you can convert one or multiple HD videos you like to the iPhone at a time. Also, it enables you to modify your desirable video/audio resolution, including frame rate, bit rate, file size, and sample rate. Moreover, it adopts advanced audio and video sync technology, which can totally get rid of the audio and video out of sync issues. By the way, it features easy operation by dint of a few buttons on the interface. Okay, now, are you still troubled by the “rumor”? Hope this software will be of your great help.

All the best
